A brief intro
I've followed the Goddess, under different traditions and paths, for several years now. Around four years ago, I happened upon Filianism, the scriptures, and found a home.
I have a quiet practice of prayer, studying the scriptures and other goddess paths and traditions, and overall simply trying to improve my relationship to Her.
I am not what most consider Orthodox Filianist; I am an independent, and actually prefer Madrian to Filianist in matter of definition. I seek getting to the root of matters, and as Madrianism is what the original term meant, that's what I prefer. If you are familiar with Filianism, or look at other websites talking about it, you'll notice a lot of terminology that differs from mine. I have a reason for doing so, namely to again get back to basics, but also because I am not interested in a lot of aspects of what eventually became later Filianism and some associated groups. Though they may now be much less well known, I would say I'm much more closely related to the Janite tradition (albeit I am sure most may not know who this was; they are still around, just much quieter).
I created this site mostly to have a whimisical space, but also as a backup for some of my information on my blog over at blogspot. If you wish to dive into Madrian/Filianic thealogy, that's where I post long form at.
Thank you for reading and visiting!
